How Old Was Curry When He Was Drafted

So, you're wondering, "How old was Steph Curry when he was drafted?" Well, grab a coffee, let's chat about it.

First off, let's set the scene. It's 2009, the Golden State Warriors are picking seventh in the NBA draft. They've got their eyes on a sharp-shooting point guard from Davidson College. You might be thinking, "Who's that again?" But trust me, they knew what they were doing.

Now, Steph Curry, he's not your average college senior. He's already made a name for himself, leading Davidson to the Elite Eight in the NCAA tournament. But how old is he, you ask?

Steph was 21 when he was drafted. That's right, just a baby, barely old enough to rent a car without a surcharge! I mean, can you even remember what you were doing at 21? Probably not setting the NBA alight like Steph was about to.

But wait, you might be thinking, "21? That's not that young!" And you're right, it's not. But remember, this is the NBA we're talking about. These guys are usually straight out of high school or college. Steph was already a seasoned vet compared to some of his peers.

And look at him now! He's won three championships, two MVP awards, and he's broken more records than I can count. All from that lanky kid who was drafted at just 21 years old.

So, the next time you're watching Steph drain another three, remember, he's been doing this since he was barely out of his teens. Impressive, huh?

Now, who's ready for a refill? My treat!
